SHIA - SUNNI UNITY !!!

Re: SHIA - SUNNI UNITY !!!

Hit the nail on the head ...

The questions to ask ourselves are:

a) If the imams are infallible then why attribute to them negative attributes such as hatred and anger?

b) Why do we blame the shi'a for thinking ill of sahabah, it is true that there were wars between them isn't it?

These questions will help us understand one another. But both questions lead to one area ...

We can neither judge save or condemn those people who were much better than us in early Islam. We both believe Allah (SWT) will Decide their fate (RA/AS)

:) The football hooligans are here to stay I guess, but we need to stop reading trashy tabloids and start to read some broadsheets.

Re: SHIA - SUNNI UNITY !!!

(RA/AS)

this is better approach

Re: SHIA - SUNNI UNITY !!!

The main difference stems from the question of leadership. Who has the divine authority to guide or do the hidayat after the Prophets' passing? Is it the family or is it the companions? Is the leader divinely appointed or Is it chosen by the people? or is it simply the case of who has more force to grab the power and hold on to it. This is the fundamental question. What is the WILL of God and what did the Prophet want from us because its always been about the "authority" since day 1:

Iblis V Adam
Qabeel V Habeel
Ibrahim V Namrood
Musa V Firaoun
Yousuf V his brothers
Isa V the Jew leaders of the Temple of Solomon
Taloot V the tribes of the Bani Israel
Bani Hashim, the Ahlul Bayt V the Bani Ummayads among other tribes

Who is Quran talking about when it demands our submission to "those charged with authority among you" (4:59)

Re: SHIA - SUNNI UNITY !!!

As for Sayyidun we all include them in our durud
As for piety and scholastic knowledge these are praised in the Qur'an

The people who are both of these are undoubtedly the **best **from amongst us
