BTW, here's a comment on how the Nomads (al-A'raab) used to interpret scriptures: "As far as the Ismaelites choosing to be nomadic, they were nomadic from the begining because Abraham, Issac and Jacob were ALL nomadic. He and all his decendants were nomadic. It wasn't until the slavery experience in Egypt that they put nomadism behind them... and then revivied it again for 40 years living in the wilderness. Nomads don't necessarily practice meditation and prayer. Meditation in the Hebrew scriptures related to thinking and contemplating on the meaning of the verses." So, yeah...
