Anyone saw Hafeez's interview. The lad spoke very well and had a reasonably good command of english.

Bolto to Kaptan Bana deiN ??
Got to say, the boys have bowled absolutely superbly right through this tournament. Every single one of them has produced the goods consistently and strangled the life out of the opposition with their discipline and no little ability.
Well done our Shehzadays ![]()
I love this Hafeez kid even more now that I know he speaks English well.
Must say I'm very impressed by these spinners - Hafeez, Malik and Kaneria. The fielding also seems top notch. Well done boys. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a good fielding effort by my boys.
keep up the good work and may none of you ever get a contract with Pepsi, Coca-Cola or any other Cola company.
How much more time's left before the game resumes?

why??? ![]()
I'm glad Aamir Sohail kicked out all the veterans and has brought in the youngsters. Not only have they demostrated decent, batting and bowling skills, but they've also improved their fielding as well as the number of extras they consume.
16 is still quite a lot of extras, but it's much better than giving away 25-40 extras in a game.
I'm sure if Aamir Sohail keeps booting out the ones performing poorly, Pakistan team will then be in good shape for the WC07.
btw... anyone got Hafeez's interview recorded online?
No, not boot out anyone who is performing poorly, Every player can have that poor playing phase, what matters most is that every player gives it their best shot, and has discipline.
Anyone getting big headed and showing bad discipline should be booted out.
^you my friend should be running the PCB.

May not need "booting" but definitely need "resting", we already suffered bad patch of Inizmam in WC.

Hmm yeah agreed, Resting is also another key, but not resting in the sense that they lie on a manjee with their dhoti's on a sunny day in a veranda. with a jug of lassi in one hand and a dripping paratha in the other. :)
but yeah i agree with you, we cant make the same mistakes.
Players can have poor phases, but poor phases shouldn't be lasting for several years. There has to be some sort of limit as to how long they should be kept in the squad while in performing poorly. Resting or booting, either one would work.
Our veterans seem to think that they are irreplacable and no matter what happens, they'll be still in, even if they choose to perform pathetically (in some cases for years). I'm glad Aamir Sohail made some necessary changes in the team.
Outta curiosity... do the 'resting' players get paid for lying around on their manjis, having parathas and lassi? Or NO PAY?

I think they get paid by matches played. No game, no pay.
Another huddle.
