Sharjah Cup: Pakistan vs Kenya

FULL BACKING? I knew you were different.

Well, two comments...

First of all, these comments were made at other teams during the world cup and we all (including mods) had a good laugh at them. Nobody complained. Now that we are doing the same with a team of your liking, you seem to bring in your official powers into play?

Secondly, GS staff should learn to respect it's members. If we are not allowed to say what we want to say within a decent framework, then why even bother posting?.

nikammay sam
btw aap ke nick ka matlab kia hia ?

FG.. too bad.. okay Ali bhiaaaaaaaa itna ghussa na karain waisay bhi har musalman dosray musalman ka bhia behen hia :hehe:

mujhe nahi pata tha ali ke aap ke dil itna sensitive hia :frowning:

aap kisi ko kuch bhi boloo bura nahi laghta liakin jab baat apnay oper aaty hia to sab pareshaan hojatay hian.. and its quite natural na…

same thing here we used to say that to indians and they get mad but always try to remain calm.. and now u are sayin to our team we feel naa.. so is main serious laimnay ki koi baat nahi..

and the mods are here for everyone.. since we are girls so they give us(girls) some moree value.. butt i knoww in reality.. they are your friends more than us :bummer:

btw do u want me to translate it anyway… :stuck_out_tongue:

yaeh guys calm down, much though I'd love to abuse my powers it wouldn't go down well with the head honchos.

anyway, to sum up - the team did good (huddle or not) but will be intersting to see them up against stronger opposition. I think they'll do ok.

oye pp007 ki pp, u say me bhaijaan in bold one more time, I am gonna delete all of your PM's. OK?.

inshallah…

xtreme bhia.. u think zimbabwe would a strong opposition for us :konfused:

In World Cup '03 he scored 91 @ 30.3 ave in 3 games. Not "outstanding" but not bad too.

I know it sounds harsh but at this level one has to bite the bullet and make the right calls. I hope Aamir Sohail can read this opener. Being out of form is one thing but lack of variety of shots and inability to middle the ball is another.
[/QUOTE]

May be he'll be future wicketkeeper/opener. Otherwise Kamran Akmal could be another choice if Taufeeq doesn't improve.

Iraq jana pasand karayn gai?

yeah guys, lay off Taufeeq, he's a tough character who produced good stuff in the big games Australia, SA and the WC. Even if he's eventuall replaced in the one day side, he definitely should retain his place in the test team. He's a pretty decent puller/hooker of the short ball I reckon.

Holy moly Cow.. Shoaib scored 76 from only 58 balls! Are you guys sure it’s malik not akhtar! Wow he proved me wrong then. Well done Xtreem :k:I always thought of him who can stick around and save his wicket. One thing is for sure, nobody stood out in the team but everyone displayed some flashes of excellence and the best part is the team played as one unit.Everyone made useful contribution.

I’m not surprised Misbah ul haq performed impressively right away. He holds one of the best domestic cricket average(50+) in both forms of cricket.

Imagine Saeed, Shoaib akhtar and Inzi joining the team. I don’t see Saqlain coming in the near future. We already have two great off spinners Hafeez and Shoaib Malik. The scary part is both of them are very good batsmen.

I sincerely hope Saeed makes a comeback. He is truly an amazing batsman. If he is fit like Waqar younis then he should be recalled. Taufiq Umer is already struglling. He cannot seem to get the basics right.

I’m not sure how long we can hang around with this new outfit. The inexperience of the players will be brutally exploited by better teams. So we need senior players along with three or four talented inexpereince players.

Naved hasan looks very promising. Can anyone tell me how good he was when he opened the bowling? was he able to swing the bowl or looked threatening?

I’m missing all the action!!!:frowning:
