Re: 'Sharab' in Pakistani Society
Stop your shameless accusations against Baba-e-Qaum, what proof do you have? Don't believe everything what Indian/Brit write against our heroes to demoralise us.
Even if he did sin, you have no right to mention them, when a Muslim dies we should remember the good he did and pray for his forgiveness, not remember his sins.
He got us an Islamic country and saved us from Indian state terrorism and extremist Hindu persecutions, is that not a naiki enough?
Re: 'Sharab' in Pakistani Society
Its a shame that this goes on but sadly ppl do it.For wat reason i dont know. But its not only in pak this happens it happens in many muslim populated countries.
Re: 'Sharab' in Pakistani Society
Why'd anyone be shocked to find out Pak Army or Pakistanis drink? The only reason I can think of is if someone has never lived in Pakistan and not much interacted with lots of them.
Its a common thing in Pak Army (specifically) to be drinking, esp the higher you go. Its just as common belief in Pak Army that if you can provide drinks to upper level you'll get promoted faster as we "The Muslims" believe that for a "marketing/sales" person on higher level in US (or west in general) has to be "socializing person" to get real benefits of the job.
In short, Pakistan is just another society using the label "Islamic Republic of.....", the only "Islamic" thing I find is majority of population with Muslim names. Sorry if I offended anyone, I know its hard to gulp reality :D
Re: 'Sharab' in Pakistani Society
Most of the Muslims I know who drink (there aren't a huge number I know) are ones who came from abroad (Saudi or Pak) to study at college.

be realistic dude...now i dont want to get hot-headed like u....and these are not accusations as u put it...it is a fact 2 which a majority of think is the true....u cant go on 'hiding' the facts..MUhammad ali jinnah is a role-model for me as mush as he is for u..it's just that...we have to learn from the mistakes done by those before us......and about the 'NAIKI'...i am not the one who can make a judement on this..it's ALLAH...and i am not sure if jinnah's gonahs were washed off just becoz of this naiki....
