I think PCB should stop wasting time and energy on trying to convince BCCI to play with us. It is a futile not least a self-degrading exercise. Shaharyar should have known better. It is simply not going to happen courtesy of the Indian government. However, I do not believe that things are any worse now than when we played bilateral series with them in the past.
We should focus instead on playing against England, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand both home (UAE) and away.
And I have no idea how can sane Indians (never mind others) even stand over-the-top TV anchor Arnab Goswami. He is way too loud, illogical and emotional and his show is one arrogant, irrational noisy hour. His aggressive tone and demeanor is enough to put any sane person off.

Whenever I have watched his show it is like hearing only one side of the argument. HIS illogical POV. Other voices are easily drowned out by Arnab's constant shouting.
Way too emotional. I remember when Pakistan visited India in 2013/2014 for a one day series and the series was 2-0 after 2 games (should have won it 3-nil but for our pathetic batsmen making a real mess of an easy target of 160 odd in the final game), Arnab was like, 'Oh God! how could this happen? How could India lose to Pakistan? This is so shameful and embarrassing'...almost crying on the show. just leave it. It is not the end of the world. It is only a game. You win some and you lose some..

His shows are a display of indignation outrage at its best or worst. He has about 8 guests each show. The names are announced, but not associated with who they are. There are 4 panelists on one side of the issue - his side. And 4 on the other.
He begins with a monolog to make his case. And then poses a question to the other side. As soon as the other side starts speaking, he interrupts - answer my question. This charade goes on for 5 minutes.
Then he goes to a panelist supporting his pov. This time no interruption.
And on and on it goes. For some reason those with his pov are louder. While the Mic for the other pov is turned down a notch or more.
At the end he declares his side as the winner.
