See Outty I don't accept or approve of( well who am I) but nonetheless in my opinion if you talk of Pakistan taking up arms for the Palestinian cause or else if one thinks that being a nuclear weapon state, we are in a position to nuke Israel or threaten it then we are wrong. We already have too much up our sleeve to take care of.
We can morally support the Palestinians, we can on principle take their side, we as muslims can and should support their cause.
However, if 'we' is taken to mean the entire Muslim Ummah, then thats another matter and then these statements by WS are justified

We as Muslims, collectively have failed miserably to save our brethren in Islam. I believe its incumbant upon the Arab world, the Arab leaders to take a stand regarding this issue but either that they are puppets in the hands of their masters with who's asheerbad (kind of tacit support) they are still ruling their territories as kingdoms or that they don't feel anything at the loss of precious lives.
