Best one was from Ghalib, he also supposedly wrote with the name Assad and later made propaganda that he has some competitor name Assad. *His entire life is more hilarious than nature of his poetry. *

Yes Nasiruddin Shah is my favourite since Jaane bhi do yaaron:k:, he is another UP wala that I like
Of course, if one doesn’t learn from it, Pundas learn because in uneven competition they may lose otherwise, Jats don’t because they believe Lathi is solution:D, without learning their way Jats engaged them last time, Indira entered Golden temple and blew the brains of Jats:(, I hate pundas:(

Credit taken back. Alif Laila was originally based on Indian and Persian (mostly Persian) Folklore and later stories from Iraq, Egypt were included in the book

The main character of Alif Laila Shehzad (the girl who tells the king stories every night to save her life) is said to be belonged to Iraq, although the name Shehrzad is very much Persian :)

My saas’s father was famous Allahbadi, though he was Kashmiri immigrant:) but I like my all UP connections, because it is unique variety of people, some are like Altaaf Hussain Londonwaley:). One of the UP minister is RaghuRaj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, He was in Jail for two years and now he is Jail Mimister:D
