It's a good question and i m going through the phase where i have to decide WHEN (not IF) i will be getting married. I think it's actually better to at least get engaged( that helps you concentrate on one particular person rather than getting involved in painful affairs) and get married after a YEAR or something. This way you will get to know that person more and you can adjust yourself before actually start LIVING with that person. This way you are less likely to get a SHOCK of your life and you will know exactly what challenges you are going to face in future life.
