Shaadi in Village

Re: Shaadi in Village

went to one of my cousins last year. After attending loads in the major cities of Lahore and Karachi I thought the village one would be dull in comparison. I kid you it was not at all. In fact it was better or on par with the city ones. Granted you don’t really have the option of booking/renting a hall and stuff (we didn’t anyway), my cousin used a large stretch of land near his fields and set up a huge tent and decorated it out with lights, homemade decor, a dance floor and you would have with normal city ones. It was like a bollywoood scene

In fact it was slightly better because all the ladies hand-made the decor prior to the wedding which really let the wedding mood set in.

I find people in villages are more hospitable and friendly than city folks, since they all practically know each other. it makes it better!

only downside is that when it rains, since the ground in villages are mostly mud, it will get very muddy. but im sure that doesnt matter in the grand scale of things.
