I grew up in US as well. I was born in Pakistan. My parents always gave us lectures about the purity of Pakistan and till this day believe all that rubbish because that was the culture they grew up in.
On my recent visit to pakistan after 5 years I just see that accesibility to the opposite sex has increased because of SMS and internet. Everyone has a call phone. Even the jamadars have cell phones. Your cell phone and who you talk to and communicate with becomes YOUR PRIVATE business.
You will not see men and women kissing or holding hands in public but you will also see many younger kids guy and girl in coffee shops and no one looks twice. You also see a handful of odd couples like a 50 year women with 20 year old guys in coffee houses at night sitting in each other laps. WEIRD!!
I think in our parent's good old days - people were afraid - everything would be behind closed doors because someone would say something but now it's becoming acceptable where people might give you a glance but won't say something like what are you doing?
That is the only change I noticed.
It reminds me of that old Salt-N-Pepa song ...LOL.....

I have to admit Pakistan is this really contrasting country when it comes to people and their views on morality and other social issues.
Just one thing to note - people who go by their parents views of Pakistan - its your parents view, not necessarily everyone elses. What your parents experience is based on how they were brought up, the time they were brought up in, the kind of people they were mixed in - some people are brought up in a very protected and even trouble-free life where theres no problems.
I have never seen males and females hold hands - well in fact I have at many tourist spots - I guess this is a signal to show this women is taken, keep away more than anything else. I have never seen a male and female pakistani ever kiss in pakistan in a sexual manner. I have never seen boys and girls sitting in each others laps. I have seen "freemixing" in the upmarket restaurants, fast food places - i did see some young boys and girls hugging each other in the Zam Zama branch of Subway in Karachi..of course this attracts a very elite crowd....
All the large cities and even small towns have prostitutes - some have red light districts while others just a woman/women doing things on the side for whatever reason.
The difference between pakistan and the USA is - the USA sees the opening up of sexuali issues and sexuality as progression, a step forward yet at the same their whole family system is falling apart.........sex is a private issue...
People are always on the look out in bazaars - their eyes always hunting for someone interested and when theybecome experienced they usually knows who is up for it...

Can't help but agree with the majority of the points made by the 'OP'. Although prostitution isn't as widespread in PAK as he claims. I went back recently and there seem to be a lot of gay's in my part of the green but not hookers handing around the high streets offering a '10 ka 30'!
so wht exactly do u want to accomplish / get by discussing sex in pak while u urself were born raised and brainwashed in the west...is it because ur jealous that even after living in a liberal modern and moralless western society you are not getting any while those third-world pests are having it all...
on a less serious note...sex...murders...rape...robberies...all this stuff happens everywhere...if pakistanis are denying it then whts the big deal...americans say they want peace in ME and all over the world..i see them hardly doing anything to make peace in the world...on the conterary...they are busy supplying the israelis with latest weapons and missiles...to shred the palestinians into pieces.

Exactly that's what I use to think. But my brother's and sisters they left Pakistan many years after me. They use to tell me that Pakistan is not same now it's been changed alot.
Now when I visited Pakistan last year I was so amazed. Lots have been changed.
Yes they are forward than here but whom who didn't change here too. But who become like westeners here are way farward to Pakistani ppl. Thats a big difference.
I didn't see any girl saying D head or F u in Pakistan but I saw many ABCD's doing this and think proud that they got goraay's accent and behave like goraays and dress like gorays.
