Yes luckily. FIH increased quota for Asia. South Korea and China qualified for olympics by playing the final of Asian Games 2006 at Doha. China had already qualified for the games being the host nation. So the additional place for Asia went to Pakistan as they finished 3rd at the Doha Asiad.
