I think what we see in dreams and then some of those dreams come true in real life is not what you asked in first post. Thats a different thing or may be somehow related.
I read somewhere, ofcourse a fabricated thing it was, it said, when a baby is in mom’s womb before birth, by the Will of Allah an angel shows the baby everything thats going to happen in life. Thats why when we see something happening in our life, we think its already had happened before.
But its not true, they actually fabricated the Hadeeth that said, by the Will of Allah an angel writes down everything going to happen in the person’s life when he/she is 4 months old in the mom’s womb. Ao kama qeel.
