Separation anxiety

Re: Separation anxiety

I recently went on a trip and my 1 year old son went crazy. He hated everything and everyone. He would scream, yell, hit is head on the floor when anyone came close to him. It was very embarassing. But thing is, he was never like this.. now at 1 year he is just uncontrollable. Well before, he wasn’t really exposed to that many people. He loves staying at home with his toys, within his comfort zone. I really don’t know what to do. I hear so many lectures from people now, what have you done to him… :bummer:

Re: Separation anxiety

lol
always the mothers fault isn't it -.-

Re: Separation anxiety

mine is still stuck to my butt. i can almost picture being in the bridal suite on his wedding night if things stay like this

for mothers of babies that cant crawl..

excersaucer their butts! it was a life saver for me at home!!! it kept him bz… entertained… and he could be with me all over the house. (i had to drag it with me.. it has no wheels)

this is what im talking bout..

Walmart.com: Evenflo - Exersaucer SmartSteps ABC: Gear

u can even take it when travelling. it collapses.

i LOVED it and so did midget… from 4 months to 9 months he sat in it. even though he could crawl at 6 months… he found it quite a lot of fun to be able to stand and jump and land on his feet … great stuff!

Re: Separation anxiety

mine was in it at a friend's place and hated it lol.

Re: Separation anxiety

What?! My sil has it and she lives in TO!

Ill asknhow she got it but i think from toys r us.

Is this a recent ban?

Re: Separation anxiety

Noor loved her exersaucer!
She spent quite a bit of time in it....especially while I would be in the kitchen cooking or something.
She was within sight....rather I was within her sight and that kept her happy......but I do remember putting her in her bouncer in the bathroom when I absolutely had to shower and there was no way that she would settle if she couldn't see me.

Re: Separation anxiety

gosh, mine is still like that when we're home alone. Actually come to think of it, even with the inlaws here, if im home, she'll be somewhere in the same vicinity as me. Unless, they bribe her with gardening

Re: Separation anxiety

probably cuz he can crawl now and found it restrictive?

abbay you changed your reply and my reply to yours makes no sense now!

Re: Separation anxiety

sorry, i was wrong- i was thinking about the walker. those aren't allowed here.

Re: Separation anxiety

lol! :p

this was before he crawled. i think it was because he tried to jump in it and it wouldn't work.

Re: Separation anxiety

ya walkers aint allowed... they are frowned upon here too.. but we still got em in stores..

lol at not being able to jump :D

Re: Separation anxiety

but walkers are just sooo handy! i found mine to be a life saver...

Re: Separation anxiety

they just say that it can flip over really easily... there have been cases of kids falling down staircases or flipping over etc... course you can be careful...

here they just say it hinders child's natural instinct of walking... and thus makes them lazy = late walkers.

Re: Separation anxiety

my son was fine for a few months butt he's back to being super clingy. I go to the bathroom and I here maaaammmmmaaaaa and see little fingers under the door frame.

Re: Separation anxiety

Lol. So cute haha

Re: Separation anxiety

lol too cute...

mine used to do that too... sometimes even now. I get the "mama can u see my fingers... how many can you see...." it somehow makes her think that nothing can scare her while I can see her... lol

Re: Separation anxiety

lol @ ramsha and sadzz. too cute mA!
