As a parent your first and foremost criteria when deciding on a place to live should be whether there are good schools in the area. Try to research that through the Internet and (if you can) people who already live in that area. Also try to focus on areas where the majority of residents are families with kids rather than single professionals.

After that you’d be looking at rents, distance to your own place of work/study, transportation infrastructure, etc.

Thanks alot, I like that suggestion the most. I would consider this while looking for home.
