LOL RON PAUL IS A LIBERTARIAN, CONTRADICTS 90% OF CURRENT REPUBLICANS, WHY ISNT HE KICKED OUT. SERIOUSLY, SOME OF YOU GUYS ARE NUTS.
Exactly, same is with some of the democrats. They are never asked to leave. This is simply a shameful act and protecting it with a lame excuse is far more shameful.
Yes its getting pretty normal thesedays that Pakistanis have to teach lessons to Indians.. and yes the wonders continue cuz Indians keep on doing the same BS
If Indians can't accept Jinnah after 62 years how are they gonna accept Pakistan?
Exactly! This is a moral victory for Pakistan and all the Pakistanese specially those who struggled for the partition.
When they cant accept someone who praises Jinnah, how could they accept Jinnah, his ideology or all the muslims who were doing the struggle under his leadership in 47. It totally justifies the partition and also give us the lesson to protect our country from such evil people who have zero tolerance for other nations or their representatives or the people who admire them.
Jaswant Singh has been side lined on the national political scene, and this is a good way for him to stay in the news. None of this is going to change the general Indian perception about Jinnah & Pakistan
What was Jaswant Singh thinking while writing this book ? Did he really think he could compare Gandhi & Jinnah and get away with it ? It doesn't matter what drove Jinnah to ask for partition, the bottomline is that he was responsible for partition. Justifying partition is not going to serve any purpose.
Looks like the guy who wtote this book has a different view than u but the critical point of it all he seems to have more knowledge than u so keep ur rant on ur side of the wall
I for one always admired Ghandi and Jinnah and will continue to do so ..... Simply for what they both achieved
But the subcontinent thrives on the misery of its neighbour rather than it's shaping own destiny to prosperity
How is expelling a leader not amount to democracy. BJP as a party believes in certain principles and any person who does not believe in these principles deserves to be expelled. Thank God that atleast people did not want him to be killed...
quote a single incident when someone is killed for writting a book in india....you have mistaken us for your theocratic traditions.
So many excuses. And yes we accepted Mr. Gandhi and his views. Never agreed with them, but then again we kicked someone out of a political party for saying that.

If the party follows a certain ideology and a person no longer beleives in the ideology then it is high time that he leaves the party on his own. How difficult is that for you to understand. Just becuase you have accepted Gandhiji does not mean anything.
Let me try and make this simple for you. Imagine you are staying in with a group of friends who do not drink. If you begin drinking and creating nuisance, it is better that you leave the place where you are staying and find someplace new to stay.
Jaswant Singh was not expelled for his views on Mr. Jinnah. in 2005 L.K.Advani, the top BJP leader expressed almost similar views about Mr. Jinnah and he was not expelled. Jaswant singh has rather been expelled from the party coz he criticised Sardar Patel, who is an icon for BJP.
And Plz come over the habit of connecting everything that happens in India to Indian democracy.
Huh!! How is that not related to democracy???!! If he said something which is not related to party motive, he can be issued notice, anything like show-cause, expelling clearly indicates that they are not ready to hear anything which they dont want to, which is the reverse of what democracy is.
And since its also related to endurance which is almost non-existent among most of the indians, I'm really afraid he can be killed as well.
He was not expelled coz President of BJP wanted him to be expelled, but he was expelled when all the party working commety members were of unanimous view that he must be shown the door. They were entitled to this. However personally I m against this.
Its good that U are afraid for his life. Even good is that after few years of his life, U will be happy to change ur way how U see India and Indians.
We have ppls in India who have spoken against hindu gods, and are enjoying the status of Chief Minister of Indian state. Tolrance of Hindu India is beyond imagination. Some natural exceptions are there if U dont like to bring them up.

Okay, contgatulations for ur MORAL VICTORY.
If U dislike double standards than may I ask U a few question?
They have already accepted L.K.Advani who praised Jinnah in 2005. He was BJP's prime minister candidate in recent elections. My question is, will U ever accept someone who sing songs in praise of Mujeeb? Or Nehru? Has someone in ur country, who hold political status akin to Advani and Jaswant singh, ever written or spoken some good words about them? If yes, than plz enlighten us.
So many excuses. And yes we accepted Mr. Gandhi and his views. Never agreed with them, but then again we kicked someone out of a political party for saying that.
ok....tell us what complexes are disturbing you and your like minded gentry....our democracy, your faliurs or something else....do you have a normal look party in your country.....something is really wrong that one political leader is expelled from a party in India and it has disturbed your and your gentry'sleeps....
