This so called peaceful group has started to give life threats to senators. Its time to rid these parties from the land of Pakistan. Seriously they should be thankful that Musharaf is not a vindictive man, otherwise had it been some other cruel dictator like Saddam, all leaders of these banned outfits would have been shot dead.
Which political parties are you talking about, religious? Dude, these parties are existing because the army has wanted so. Mushy could keep them out of the provincial and national assemblies but for some known and unknown reasons he didn't do it. From 1977 onwards, every dictator used these parties in order to legitimize his illegitimate power. And the current dictator is no exception. He is reaping what he and his predecessor Zia sowed.
The religious parties have done good and bad. To say they are ineffective in Pakistani society is to be blind to the realities on the ground. The religious are the few organizations that have true democract strenght. They have support in all segments of society and arent the puppy of the military.
Btw Shawaiz didnt BBB and NS also use them to legitimize power?

This cowardly party exists beyond Pakistan, and is not an army creation or protection. Forget Zia, he was a mad man. The present regime did justice to the nation by banning these dimwits, which is why they are responding with these death threats and attacks.
