Well then he can keep on dreaming about it - if you are greedy you don't get anything but if he takes this job offer i.e. if offered then i guess he can win the nations hearts and respect through his good selection skills and wise ways of bringing the team to the top and perform - which will eventually make him a favorite to actually perhaps get what he wants -
