If I can recall correctly, who was it that one in the World Cup warmup match in March? Oh thats righhhttt it was Italia!

Considering Germans are more of a attacking team, the Italians will play strong defense throughout the game and then capitalize upon German mistakes.

Expect Zambrotta and obviously Fabio Grosso, who will all know will receive another yellow card and be suspended from playing in the Final. I might not even be suprised to see whether Lippy brings Grosso in as a sub in the 65th minute.

What bothers me the most is why don't they play Inzaghi? The guy has proved to be very efficient in internationals and in this World Cup he's scored in his only game.

Anyways, I think Italy will start Alberto Gilardino, who will score from a Totti corner, sometime in the late 2nd half to win the game 1-0. If that does not occur, Andrea Pirlo will get a goal in the game.

I wud love to watch Portugal-Germany final. It wud be fast, furious and attacking.

Let me remind you of a keeping error right from this worldcup. He let go one ball into the goal after fumbling it big time. It was against US; to his respite that goal was disallowed :smiley: I also remmeber his gross fumble against Real couple of seasons ago when he allowed Ronaldo to score after fumbling.

He is THE best but he is human too :smiley:

both teams dont look like scoring. 10 minutes of normal time then extra time. I anticipate penalties.

Good football by both teams. Italy had a clear edge over Germans in the first half.

Looks like both sides r going for the Penalty shoot-out as i don't see any side getting the breakthrough in Extra-Time

BTW: Italy now with 2 Forwards ..... looks like Lippi is going for the Kill
