really it so respected is it? then why did it wait till end of the iraq war to start reporting on the torture the abuse and the massacres by American forces and US mercenaries?

It had the information years before the war ended by the way. Respected i think not, it plays political games and seeks self benefit like the rest of the two faced western media.
