It depends on the person, but generally, i think boys are better at keeping secrets.
Girls will tell another girl, and say “this is top secret, do not tell anyone” 
and then that girl will tell another girl , saying the same thing, and then that girl will tell another girl , saying the same thing, and then that girl will tell another girl , saying the same thing, and then that girl will tell another girl , saying the same thing, and then that girl will tell another girl , saying the same thing…etc…you get the idea.
