She is right, less water is better.
Also, if you soak the daal before you can cook the qeema with daal on low heat without any water.
why would you drain that water....next time add less water, keema doesnt need too much water for cooking.

Sara throwing that water means you are throwing the rich broth that has all the nutrients. Instead cook keema daal with less water....1/2 cup or even less.

Less water means it gets dried more & doesn't get blended well.

rice powder in the end gives the kababs a nice crust and they dont fall apart !

well it turned out pretty well so no complaints.

Not so much that it doesn't blend well. That was the problem with my kababs for the first 3-4 times. Then I left the cooked material a little moisturized and that helped blending well.
