Never heard of Jews removing their pubes, maybe you’re confusing it with circumcision..
Even if the Jews did practice it before us it’s because their religion was once devine too and has the same source as ours, it doesn’t mean it is not a part of Islam, it’s from Sunnah and Allah has said many a time in the Koran to follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (S.A.W.W). If we go by your logic circumcision is only a Jewish tradition too, Salaah is Jewish too (yes there is evidence in the Jewish scriptures for a Salaah very similar to ours with Ruku’ and Sajdah and everything).
One of the known reasons why we’re ordered to do it is because of personal hygiene just like clipping our nails or trimming our moustaches.. In Islam cleanliness accounts to half of faith, it’s very important, God has to order us to do these small things or people just wont do them, take Goray for example because there is no concept of Tahaarah/Najaasah in their religion they don’t even wash their hands after going to the toilet or before eating, only a small educated minoirty of them have adopted these habits very recently because of scientific discoveries, during the Middle ages they didn’t even do Ghusl (bath/shower), they only did it like once a year because they thought it would make them ill… Whilst the followers of Al-Mustafa (Sal Allaaho Alaihe Wassallam) have been practcing personal hygiene for centuries, plucking our armpits, shaving our pubes, trimming our nails and moutsaches, brushing our teeth, showering when neccesary, washing before prayer, applying perfume, combing our hair as religiously sanctioned neccesities..
…Nowadays the Goray are realising that removing armpit and pubic hair is an essntial part of personal grooming and they do it, the aunaturel is like sooo 90’s..
