Re: Scariest horror film you have ever seen?
exorcism of emily rose wasnt as scary as it was upsetting cuz it was a true story. Paranormal activity wasnt scary at all
I remember watching this with my friends - but I spent most of the movie behind a pillow.

did have its scary moments. Its even scarier to think that someone actually went through that
Re: Scariest horror film you have ever seen?
Yeah the fact that its based on a true story is seriousssly freaky.
Do you believe it actually happened??
Re: Scariest horror film you have ever seen?
oh yeah. its very well documented. Her real name was Anneliese Michel. She was german catholic. She underwent 67 exorcisms towards the end of her life with one or two a week in four hour spurts. Her grave site is a shrine type place. I dont get scared easily but no way would i go anywhere near it!!

Re: Scariest horror film you have ever seen?
Paranormal Activity was scary because they played upon the concept of, you know... "things that go bump in the night". You don't know what it is, can't see it... but there's a presence. I thought it was cleverly marketed (rumors of it being an actual documentary), and in general it gave me the creeps. However, after watching the first one, the second one was too predictable and lost all it's awesomeness.
Insidious is a truly horrifying movie. Loved it despite the butchered ending, but the movie/acting/scare element was amazing.
