Balma sounds more than romantic.
Re: Sayyan, Sajna, Balma
@Muqwee…didn’t we talk about the Hindi word ‘rasik’ in another thread sometimes ago?
btw, the word ‘Rasik’ tefers to someone who is:
full of Passion, elegant; with discrimination. Connoisseur - understands the intricacies of passionate love.
Hindi meN:
raspaan karne waalaa kisii kaavya, kahaanii, vaartaalaap aadii ke ras se aanandit hone waalaa
jiske hridai meN aaondariye madhur baateN aadii ke pratii anuraag ho
saarath
Re: Sayyan, Sajna, Balma
balma…se ek song bahot mashhoor hai:
balmaa, khuli hawaa meN, mehkii huii fazaa meN
dil chaahtaa hai meraa baheknaa idhar udhar!
love Asha’s voice, Shamsul Huda Bihari’s [S.H. Bihari] lyric and OP’s music of course.
Re: Sayyan, Sajna, Balma
No. I was taking the literal meaning - ras means juice. Rasik is adjective. But what is implied is nice balma. Looks like I put foot in my keyboard inadvertently.
Re: Sayyan, Sajna, Balma
from your definition, it should rather be:
**Ras = juice
IK = Imran Khan
Rasik = Juice of Imran Khan** ![]()
Re: Sayyan, Sajna, Balma
Huh? I have no idea what you’re talking about. Regardless of the originis of the word balma…it just sounds “silly” to me. Oifu sounds cooler.
Re: Sayyan, Sajna, Balma
Ok. Rasik oifu it is!
