Sayonara baby!

Japan has said it will postpone sending troops to join the US-led coalition in Iraq until next year because of the worsening security situation.

The staunchest of allies are getting cold feet in the burgeoning quagmire that is Iraq. How long will it be before the British throw off the leash of the ‘special friendship’ and bring their boys home?

These a pretty strong hints Mr Bush and Imperialist America, you is done.

Now even the Japanese are waving your madness bye bye, sayonara baby!

Sayonara

Well Japan’s move follows the cancellation by Turkey of plans to send troops, and the refusal of India and Pakistan to despatch any as well. But there has been more bad news, as South Korea has now announced that it is only likely to send 3000 troops not the 5000 it originally promised, and has not even given a timetable to when these will be sent. On top of that the few hundred troops that Azerbaidjan and the Czech Republic have sent are going to be pulled out in the next month or so, and not many other countries (apart from the British stooges) will send any more troops.

Wonderful :k:

geeeeeeer8 :D

Seems as though Japan came to its senses. They didn't want their military women and men to die in another country's war. So much for the grand 'coalition'. It collapsed before it even got off the ground. Dubby didn't take the world's opinions into consideration prior to launching his lil illegal invasion, now he's reaping the harvest of his unilateralist approach. Hope he's satisfied - it's just him and his poodle (and one or two unknown European countries) in Iraq. Wonder how long before he sends Powell off to make a whiny speech at the Security Council begging for 'cooperation', 'unity', and 'multilateralism'?
