Saudi women defy ban to take driver's seat

Re: Saudi women defy ban to take driver's seat

From my own experience, I believe one of the reasons women appear to be worse of as drivers in Pakistan, is a degree of sexism on the part of males on the road. Pakistani males tend to have preconceived notion that all women are bad drivers, and that driving is something best left to males, so they often will give them a hard time. Women drivers in Pakistan tend to be more defensive in their driving, (and hence the appearance of being bad drivers) because the nature of the society is such that they often feel insecure doing something so many males take to be their domain.

My two cents.
