This was never an internal issue. Iranians are exploiting problems around the region, first they support Hezbollah and topple the Saudi-back government in Lebanon. Egypt is gone. Bahrain is on the verge of collapse, if sunni-dominated gulf states let the Bahrain fall, the shia’s will starting to protest in Eastern Saudi provinces & Kuwait.
This is an calculated move by Saudi & UAE, they are showing Iran they are willing to use force to keep their sphere of influence intact. Iran is actually becoming a greater problem around the region. Pakistan should form an open alliance with Saudia & UAE regarding this. Air superiority & Naval power of Saudi/UAE & Pakistani land forces/tactical nuclear weapons are enough to take care of Iran. Their is still time to contain Iranians through Afghanistan/Kuwait & Iraq.
