Hopefully it doesn’t backfire like 1979.
I think that MBS is trying to consolidate power before he ascends the throne while showing a madrun facade to get investment. He seems to have learned from UAE.
I can’t think how the saudi family can break away from the wahabbi establishment considering the alliance has been there from before the birth of the Saudi state post WW1.
