That first sari is Oh-My-God-Gorgeous! Beeooooooooootiful.
My sister wore a black sari on my other sisters valkima. It has some red on the borders with a very light gold. She looked great. Wearing black to a wedding is no problem at all so long as its not your own wedding :D

All Uncles n Auntys have issues with wearing black? but its slimming and looks hot!! LOL!! i loved this sari! so i went to a boutique here and had her order me one in black and i had it within 3 weeks!! so maybe thats an idea for u?? show them a sari u like and get it ordered!! just trying to help ;)

I know..ppl do have issues regarding wearing black to weddings...specially for the brides! But my sister wore a black outfit on her nikkah..it was looking gorgeouS!
i reallly want a black sari as well..i liked hiddenpyramid's combination of colors!
But i'll have to wait a long time to get one..
Do NE one of you know a gud pakistani designer to order saris frm?

Every Pakistani designer makes good saris. I've seen Nilofer Shahid and Maria B's saris and they were very pretty.

i like the sec 1 in the first post
