^ this is not original seems like a copy of ss
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
Oh right, according to the photographers this was done by SS, they could be wrong then: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.463267457038390.107925.115475595150913&type=3
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
check out original and you will see the difference
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
No wonder, it looked very familiar but a little off! Oh well, the colour is beautiful
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals

Yeah I recognised instantly which one it wanted to copy. I loved the original, it still looks really nice.
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
It isnt a copy of Sana Safinaz! Its actually a little modified from the original design! She is my cousin's wife :)
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
Saw this bridal yesterday in the store and was told it was an SS bridal, very pretty colours (but I’m pretty sure they hiked the price up higher than it’s worth!)
Restored attachments:
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
^ It looks like an SS Bridal, and I have to say the colour combo is so pretty. Which studio did you see it in and how much were they charging for it?
I would be wary as to whether its original.. as when I contacted SS about ordering a bridal they said they dont stock in the UK or wlsewhere and i had a convo with the lady at phulkari when i got some lawns and she said theyre trying hard to negotiate to get them to stock here but thy know ppl r willing to travel to khi to their studio! Grrr
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
I don’t think it’s a place that SS stocks, it looked like the shop owners bought some SS stuff from Pakistan and brought it over here to sell with profit. The price they wanted (£4.5k) is defo not the right price for that bridal! It’s certainly not heavy enough. They also had a lot of other designer brand names in the store, so doubt they are official stockists.
Ziggy it’s in East London, ilford, in a shop called Texheeb (perhaps a branch of this shop?) But I’d recommend emailing SS first to compare prices!
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
this one actually again seems like copy not original
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
Now I am curious if its a copy or original, maddy did it have the SS tag on the back of the neck?
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
Thanks Mad Hatter - I've heard the name Texheeb before...maybe they do stock original designer wear. The work on the duppata is spot on to an SS outfit my Mum owns...If it's a copy, then I'm impressed!

No idea, didn't look at it, but the other outfits in their store which i did look at had designer's names on the labels.
If it's a copy then it's a pretty decent (and expensive!) one!
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
It doesn't look like a copy
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
Another SS bridal I saw in the same shop as the above one, I really like the blue one!
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
No idea why the pictures posted sideways btw, tried to turn them around but didn't work :/
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
loved the blue one, this bride wore same design but in peach colour Facebook
