So ive been in touch with them via email as im going to visit pak in june, and not sure if i can make another trip (if budget permits) the lady whose been emailing me said when i go in theyl make a cotton sample and to come back within a day and check the fittings etc. and then they are prepared to DHL it out to me obv i pay the courier charge and she said any good tailor can adjust it if need be however unless i have drastic changes in my measurements there shouldnt be no need for changes Or the other option is to come back and pick it. But you would need to be there in person for the initial consultation hope that helps.! X

When i corresponded through email they said i need to ring them and they will explain the ordering process.. So i suggest you do that although i still havent got round to ringing yet!
I have heard that they dont do orders completely through virtual communication.. i think someone atleast will have to be there to finalise things with them in person. Do you have family that could go on your behalf just to put a face to the order?
Let me know what they say if you do ring them! Also O'nitaa is a BIG no-no! They are money grabbing and completely unproffesional! They are only the middle people and things like fittings will not be any better through them as all they will be doing is corresponding with SS which you could do yourself!
Good luck :) x
InshAllah I will call at the end of February/early March as I was told they only require two months to work on an outfit. Oh noo.. I don't have any family that could visit the store to finalise things :( Absolutely everything would have to be phone/email. I hope that doesn't prevent me from getting a SS outfit. I will keep you posted when and if I do succeed (inshAllah hehe). I've read rubbish comments about O'nitaa- if she was charging a little bit more than SS I would go to her but apparently, she charges 5k for the tea rose pink outfit. Disgusting!! I'd like to email O'nitaa- do you have an email address? Slightly off topic, but I want to try imaani too as they stock Zainab Sajid and Karma now :) Good luck to you also, do stay in touch! xx

Thanks Bella shabba thats really helpful. Although im starting to get a bit beeped off with them.. The prices they quote seem to keep chaning... I asked if the T pink could be customised to a cream kameez and red lengha underneath and red dupatta.. basically the colours from one of the newer bridals they have just launched.. and they said that would be fine and the price is 4,75,000.. when previously i have been quoted ALOT less for the T pink if the dupatta was slightly lighter.. its ridiculous to assume that they would charge that much extra for colour changes so my conclusion is they quote you whatever they feel like. Not impressed! Looking around for other designers now.
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
what annoyed me is when i got my bridal i asked them to do this magenta/purple combination since my bridesmaids were going to be in this rich purple and they insisted the color would clash and wouldn't do it, and now their 2012 collection is the exact colors I had my MIL show them.

Thank you. That's very helpful. I'm still not sure if I'll be going to Pakistan. But I'll have to visit by June also to give them plenty of notice (four months, hardly plentiful).

damn that sucks
Thats not good, how much did they quote you originally.?' ive seen pics of the new one they have and the color combo is lovely.! Dont be disheartened if ur able to make it out there they might be more open to the prices etc but if theyve quoted u like a 1 lakh extea for colour change thats just silly surely it costs them nothing to change colors etc as they make the outfit from scratch anyway! Im hopefull mine wont b too bad inshallah i like one from their older collection and its within budget but i wana change colors too.! So lets see what happens x

Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
Anyone dealt with the ladies in Lahore and ordered anything from Sana Safinaz? Also, does anyone know the price range of their formals?
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
Around 3-4 lakh i would guess.. If you really wanna know, ask someone to go to SS and ask them.. they always give a higher number if you email/call them.
Re: Sana Safinaz Bridals
any idea how much the shocking pink gown would be if made with a dhaka pajama--the one Vaneeza has on in the magazine--first page of the thread?
