I like BJs.

For two reasons:

1. Costco has limited payment options as cash or AMEX only, while BJs has all payment options only.
2. There is one next to my gym where it has a gas station as well with fairly cheaper gas. It helps a lot.

I think it more depends upon your own convenience.

As far items are concerned, I prefer to buy stuff only needed in bulk and non-preishable. I used to buy salad etc from here too but now shoprite is my place for that.

Costco will no longer accept AMEX.
