It's extremely sad because of someone, Guppans are no longer comfortable posting their pictures.. I've seen on numerous occassions when a Guppan asks for her pics not to be quoted or saved.. they're quoted, saved and posted at a later stage in some other thread with a query..regarding the dress, makeup etc.
Yea I know, it's sad. I have always got lots of ideas from here but some people are just plane disrespectful by reposting others pics which they have asked not to.

Oh dear, don't you know even if you can't copy the pic by clicking the "save target/picture as" and this option is disabled. even then you can press "printscreen" on your keyboard and then the screen view is copied, you can go to Paint and click the option Paste there and you'll see the image there copied. then some people select the whole picture from there and they've the pic. so this isn't going to work as well.... sorry if i make HER learn this :$ delete my post then Mods.

At the risk of being jumped on by all of those who are just agreeing with each other and acting all shocked. How naive and dim are you when you say you only put pics so the ppl you 'trust' can see them???? I mean seriously, how can you trust anyone that you don't really know that well? how can anyone trust anyone on the net full stop? If you seriously don't want your pics floating about don't put them up full stop, and then don't go making a drama about it when sum stupid bint puts them on a BRIDAL group!!! What makes you think those that you 'trust' haven't got your own pics on their own pcs etc?

oh on a side note its because of this retard that I so wanna share my wedding pictures here & I can't.
First of all,
I know after reading this post ppl might think it's me. So, No its not me i wont do such immoral thing.
so, after reading all the post about how its wrong for her to add ppl's pics without permission and i agree i would be pissed too if i saw my pic there.
But what i was thinking is that dont we do the same thing?
Dont we take the pictures from Picasa or google or where ever and post it on this forum. We have about 14000 posts in Bridal pics thread and many of the pictures are real ppl. So I just feel it is being a bit hypocrit by pointing at her because its your pictures that are being shared but what about all those girls who's pic are posted on this forum. Most probably they don't even know of this site thats why there is no chaos but every now and then you get ppl who claim there pics and they do get deleted. However, what about the girls who have no idea and put pictures on certian places Just to share with family and friends and now they getting posted here without their permission.
I know its easy to point and When your own things are at stake but some times it is good to look at the bigger picture.
On a side note,
I love this place. I come here everyday. I am planing my wedding to and this forum has helped me so much so i am not pointing at anyone. But while reading your comments and reactions this thought came to my mind and i felt the need to express it.
and on behalf of all the people whose pics are there i have also reported it to Facebook and will ask my sisz to do it as well. The more the better.

There's also a 'snipping' tool in Vista that lets u 'cut out' any pic or part of a webpage and save it, doesn't matter if it's a still image or part of an animation..

As far as I know, I put my pictures up here for a few ppl to see, she did not ask me permission before putting my pictures on her group. I am very angry about that, So I plan on complaining to facebook and making sure her group is dis-abled. Perhaps if we could have a petition against her and send it to facebook, so they completely block her. The more people the better.

i actually went to do that because i know someone who's pic is in there (the group used to allow public to view it now you have to be a member and i refuse to join because i'm sure they will go through my albums and post up my own friends' wedding pics).
anyhow facebook took me to some other page about if it was a copywritten pic of mine and i just didn't follow through with my complaint.
why i cant view the pics.
