I definately like Shalwar Kameez the best.![]()
Anyway pantaloons or trousers are actually a Persian, and therefore asiatic invention, westerners started with skirts!![]()
Furthermore the kameez i often wear is actually more like a turkic kaftan.
It has a cut across the front as well as two splits on the sides. This is traditionally for men who need to ride horses becuase itβs easier to ride in a kaftan than a standard kameez(kurta).
In my case the kaftan is perfect for motorcycle wear. If you make one out of stiffened linen it has the qualities of body armour.
Baggy shalwars are also a lot more comfortable than trousers, theres no doubt about this one.
At college i tend to wear western combats. But at home i wear a Kaftan and Shalwar. This also works nicely with my turban. I wear the turban as a symbol of my Martial fervour and fanatic devotion to Islam.
The one drawback of shalwar kameez suits is that they are too loose flowing, almost robe like. When working on cars i have to wear overalls.
Besides i sweat so much that often i strip to the waist anyway so loose flowing robes are only suitable when iβm off duty.![]()
