May be the judiciary should prosecute these lawyers atleast for ransacking/property damage etc.

Extremely bad timings for the verdict. Shahbaz Taseer is still in captivity of criminals. The timing of this verdict is only going to jeopardize his life even more.

I was thinking the same thing but it seems that more people are inclined to believe that he has been kidnapped for other reasons......not political....

I think, it is self staged kidnapping, he will resurface some where in the west with a plastic surgery and new identity. That would be brilliant. I hope that is the case and wish him luck.

I don't see any way he can be safe and live a normal life in Pakistan. Its one thing terrorists want to get you, but when lawyers who are suppose to be the torch bearers of civil society (after all they are our tools to resolve disputes in a civil way) are as outraged as in this case, there is nothing you can do to protect your self.

as much as I want, I dont believe he (Qadri) will every be executed even if punishment is upheld by higher courts.

Before his sentence can be carried out, Govt has to make people realize that there was nothing Islamic about this murder and it was just a cold blooded murder.
