Rushdi nay apnay paas say likha ho ya reference quote kiye hon, aik "academic" ya "literary scholar" kay tor par us kay nazariya aur logic par trust nahin kya ja sakta. Thesis kay liye aisey authentic writer ko parhain jissey aap agree kar sakain or kam-az-kam reference day sakain.

Aisey kitabon ko waisay parhnay main harj nahin agar apnay aitaqad muzboot hon. Aur Islam ki basic logic khud par achi tarah clear ho.

I know to rebel is inborn in the youth today - but do not read it if it upsets your father. After all he loves you and this is important to him - respect his feelings.

DaPakiGuy - I had heard a little about The Satanic Verses, but my God I had no idea it was so bad! =\ Thanks for the links.

Anyways...might I remind you all that I am NOT reading The Satanic Verses. The book I want to read is titled Midnight's Children.

I pay taxes because I am abiding by the law and Islam does say to follow local laws. Its not like I have the options to pay taxes or not.

I don’t plan to live here for ever, just taking advantage and waiting for the right time.

I do not have American passport and even I had I would not go to middle east and beg them to let me stay there I’d rather move back to my home country Pakistan. You can’t judge everyone with same opinion. There are people who are living in america willingly and there are who are stuck for different reason.

So to move to Middle East I would have to first go to America to get a passport and than move to middle east so I can be accepted there? Why can’t they accept me with my orignal identity? Why don’t you tell them all this so they can accept us being as Muslims?

i seriously think that a sword/fight should be answered with a sword ............ and pen writing / war of words be answered with a pen................... so no need to answer to something written in words in a book , with a sword or fighting back ........................................ does it make any sense ??
