Very much deserved. He did this whilst on location of Hum Saath Saath Hain. A lot of other actors were cleared but were with him when he went crazy. The likes of Tabu, Saif etc.

good......he shouldnt be going around killing protected animals just b/c he is a "movie star". indian justice served right for once

edit: I guess the animal isnt endagered, but hes a douche and this serves him right

The animal he killed is not endangered. According to the BBC it is worshipped by a local community and considered sacred, just like the cow.

Anyway its good he's behind bars, even if its for a year only. He bloody killed a homeless person and ran his car over three others, and he's still roaming the streets free!! WTF!!!

He can do a lot of good in jail. Maybe open acting classes for inmates, teach them other finer things of life.
