Hats off to Ajmal!!! Amazing consistency. 3 years ago, no-one even know who Ajmal was. The only sad thing is he's already in his thirties. The good news is, being an offspinner he can probably play until 40.

This guy has gotten to the top of tge list without even being given a proper run in the spinner froendly conditions of wc, the captain played him two games, he impressed against WI and made Sachin feel un comfortable against him ( perhaps he was being little too occupied with idea of scoring ton and this was not his natural self).
Imagine how good his stats would have been if he given opportunity to utilize his talents in other earlier games of WC, oh well may be that captain knew 100% about ajmal's talent and captain knew what he was doing and picked up the 15 plus wickets in those games that will give him and his fans wet dreams for next few years.
PS: I have waited two days to see which KK member mentions this point but no one did so I had to post.
Is there any KK member who believes that his figures would have been better had the captain given him the chances that he deserved in 2011?
