Re: Sadiq Public School

And I don’t admire the fact that you still give any importance to the caste of yourself and other people. As long as we Pakistanis don’t get out of this caste thinking, we will never be successful. Not individually and not as a nation.

To give you an example of how it’s supposed to be: My family and I didn’t know the caste of my wife before our marriage. To quote my father when he was responding to somebody’s question: “Hummai nahi patta kai un ki kya zaat hai aur hummai patta lagaane ki zaroorat bhi nahi hai. Hummai ye patta hai, kai wo ache loog hain aur humaare liye ye hi kaafi hai.”

And even the wedding I only got to know about her caste, because it was printed on her birth certificate. She is Rajput, btw.

Re: Sadiq Public School

Now our respected M Atiq would say that your wife and her parents are good because they are rajputs.

Re: Sadiq Public School

Are you also a rajput? I am so glad you are... I would have guessed so.. sometimes you just feel talking to someone he/she's a rajput. lemme guess you are a janjua?? or a bhatti?? Minhas? Am I right? I am a Chauhan Rajput by the way.. Seems apke abba jaan open-minded hain.. Not the case with my family.. they want to maintain racial purity by marrying only Chauhans.. one of mamus was posted in Jhelum area and he's married to a Janjua- but we tend to stay within our biraadari.. Sir, let me ask you one thing- if we start intermarrying with different zaats including bharati muslims, our kids wouldn't be as strong and intelligent as we are.. apni nasl hi khatam si ho jayegi ek dum se.. true, we are all pakistani and muslims but there's a pride too.. but again glad to know you are a rajput bhai too - u made my day :) I should have guessed looking at your cute kid's pic.

Re: Sadiq Public School

They print caste on birth certificates? Since when?

Re: Sadiq Public School

*^^ As many as Pakistani birth certificate i've seen they all got caste written on it... *

Re: Sadiq Public School

What caste? My birth certificate has my name, parents name, address and what not.

What are the different castes in Pakistan that the govt officially recognizes?

Re: Sadiq Public School

was ur birth certificate issued in pakistan.....????
i personally dont belive in this ancient bullS*.But mine says.... caste: syed

Re: Sadiq Public School

yeah, Karachi.

I will take a look at it again.

Re: Sadiq Public School

Birth certificates issued in Karachi no longer contain this caste information.

Re: Sadiq Public School

What glory is there to be had in putting Muhajir? :D

Now Jatt is something else.

Re: Sadiq Public School

oh ok.

And to think I told a few people that caste is basically meaningless in Pakistan, family name and lineage matters more.

Re: Sadiq Public School

I think Britishers introduced this caste info in birth certificate or some maha rajas and state rulers did.

Re: Sadiq Public School

Another stupid post by you Moin.

No, I am not a Rajput and even if I were, it wouldn't make any difference to me. That has nothing to do with beeing open-minded though. It's common sense.

You were talking about racial purity and kids not beeing as strong and intelligent as you are. After reading your posts, I really hope that my kids will never be as stupid as you are. Intelligent to door ki baat hai.

Re: Sadiq Public School

Nobody puts muhajir as his/her caste.

Re: Sadiq Public School

I am really shocked and surprised to read such a response from you. If you weren’t a Rajput, why did you keep communuicating with me? I have a question- how did your wife’s parents agree for the marriage, since you are not a rajput? Did they allow marriage with a non-rajput  My dadajaan’s right- he says that aajkal ke rajput badal gayen hain… rajputs have changed- they marry outside their zaat and have no respect for their origin at all.. I have talked to lot of Rajput gals on this forum and they make fun of their Rajput origin.. very sad indeed very sad.. :frowning: Ya khuda, yeh kya ho raha hai???
