You overlook that he also killed, manipulated, jailed and tortured plenty of sunnis too. I remember once when I worked at a charity that aided torture victims claiming asylum in the UK, there were a fair number of claims by Sunni arab Iraqos brutally punished for not supporting Saddam’s rule.
