. What really matters is that Sunnis and Shias are now full fledged sects whose leaders don’t particularly like each other. The same leaders don’t feel ashamed when one of their lacky, whacks the head off of another secty.

This is a very important point,we must remember that the sahabas despite their differences never compromised the security of Islam for their Political purposes.
Right now these differences are a real threat to Islam
