First off, don't call me dear, it's cheap. Second, yes, Allah is the only judge, but He has given us the sight, hearing, and brain to make certain decisions. If we, as humans, can NEVER judge, then how are we expected to follow God's commandments regarding treating the disbelievers during battle? When God tells us to treat disbelievers in battle a certain way, it is assumed that we can judge someone to be the enemy of God and man.

That was precisely what was done with saddam, he was an enemy of God because he was breaking God's commandments and he was murdering innocents. God DOES give us the right to run society in a way as to promote righteousness.

Subhanallah...

Humans can judge, in order to follow God's commandments.
Battling disbelievers.

Where does all this logic go, when it comes to the Muslims fighting the US and its puppets, be it in Iraq, Afghanistan or Somalia?

The basic ruling in Islam is that we take the apparent of a person. If a person exhibits kufr...than thats how he is treated..if someone exhibits Islam, than he's a Muslim.

And Saddam did repent for his sons, publicly...he declared the Shahadah before he died, so he died as a Muslim. Whether his death was right or wrong, is a totally different issue...but it is wrong of you to call a person an enemy of God...after he's repented for his sins publicly, after he redeclares the Shahadah, and especially after he's had his death penalty.

Wheather his repentece and Shahadah were sincere or not..is up to God, but we taking the apparent..take him as a Muslim, a believer...who will Inshallah go to heaven.

By merely looking into how he was executed does not make it a justice what he got.

From a bird’s eye view, he died quickly… but that does not mean that he did not have pain for only Allah:swt: knows about it.

My question remain unanswered… Perhaps, you can point out your view in Religion forum

Its not so much as how, but why he was executed that is justice carried out.

As for your question on judging muslims, were we not to judge other muslims behaviour and atrocities, sharia would be a futile system. A muderer, thief, rapist etc. would go scot free without any repercussion in this world and if thats what Allah swt wanted, shariah in the form of crime and punishment would never have been revealed. So that logic of not judging whats in another persons heart only works as long you keep it in your heart…take it out of you’re heart mate, and you’re an open book..

This is not about judging the final destination, that is up to God. Its about judging his behaviour in this world as a leader of his nation and my God, did he fail miserably..

I am against the death penalty - I hope all countries abolish it.

Saddam was liked in India and the Indian Government has voiced it's disapproval of this 'victor's justice'.

must be thinking how lucky he is to died in such a painless way …what short-term memory you guys have this man is guilty of murdering hundreds of thousands of muslims ( even if we count only his known victims )

All these years of GS, I have been crying out loud saying the same and there were mod muslims all around going against such… refreshing to see how people change for good
