sad country

Re: sad country

A sad day indeed for the country. I am not sad for Nawaz Sharif for being kutta-fied, I am not happy for Imran Khan/TuQ being "victorious", I am sad army is still active in the politics. The worst thing that has happened in my opinion is how most of the nation is getting divided in different camps, divided in provinces, divided in ethnicity, divided in class, further divided in political camps which is rotting by the day.

I have soft corner for PTI but when I see PTI supporters, when I see PTI party as whole unfortunately it has gone miles away from its track. PTI has become a regulation political party.

We the "political supporter" have adapted extremes supporting our "party", "party leaders" in a way that we can't talk to each other without throwing mud at each other, without dragging each other's political affiliation, without taking pot-shot at the supported-party's past. And I honestly don't see things improving any times soon.

I am sad.

Re: sad country

Captain, your sadness and concern is genuine. however, if army wasn't involved, NS would have gotten away with his lie that he delivered on the floors of the parliament. it would have been even worse if NS blamed failure on the army.

the earlier this liar is out into oblivion or in jail the better it is for the nation.

a fresh elections must be called to calm things down...make sure the Shareef Biraadaraan are NOT eligible to run for public office. Zardari's bad memories are still fresh in people's minds and i hope they will not get more seats than what they already have...i would prefer to see PPP to be cut down to size.

Re: sad country

This is not democracy which is at display in Pakistan today, neither govt nor protesters following democracy.

Re: sad country

Be honest man -- These buildings are where civil and military officers of the STATE are working. Govt is not supposed to defend these buildings from aggression? The PM house is behind many other important buildings, there is no place for people to assemble between these buildings. It's like saying we want to do dharna between White house and the adjacent treasury. Good luck trying that.

Re: sad country

^ bhai mere, I am not talking about one particular day, or one particular hour.... by "today" I mean as in 'aaj kal' (last few days).

Re: sad country

Hope this thread will also move into Aazadi march .

Re: sad country

Makes perfect sence for those who like Law and order as compared to anarchy, Majority of Pakistanis believe The Govt is supporting the Constitution by not falling apart because some two bit Jokers want to take issue with the Constitution!

Re: sad country

Well said.

The agencies planned attack on democracy is working.

Re: sad country

banana republic is more peaceful than Iraqistan under NS.

Re: sad country

state police terrorism live on tv.

Re: sad country

Lol, more PTI propaganda.

Every single police force in the world would respond when thugs attack Parliament.

The thugs are lucky police are not using live rounds.

Re: sad country

it's obvious that people are smartened up......

ppp is not run by ZAB anymore, his grandson is nothing and has no value.....just look how they got booted out

pml-n won through corruption and rigging, they hav no chance in an honest/computerized election

PPP and PML-N know they will be out forever so they cry on about this so-called "jamhooriyat" all the time. In reality, they are worried about a time when Pakistani people may demand their money back from these lutteras....hope they get nailed wherever on earth they are found
