As far as mayawati is concerned even house of Congress leader of UP were attacked for criticizing mayawati....
she even built her statues in parks..............

gandhi is the ultimate holy cow for indians, i'd say. the average indian will not speak bad or even entertain the idea of any criticism. ironically, most indians don't really know most of what he stood for. any politician who says anything against gandhi in public is losing a lot of votes.

mayawati and thakeray are gali kay ghunday more than holy cows. i'd love to see mayawati, thakeray, modi and karunanidhi locked up in a room for 24 hrs. thakeray'd be done in 2 mins.

My definition of holy cow is when one can not use freedom of speech to criticize them in their stronghold.....

have you seen how easily one can crack joke about sonia,rahul or manmohan singh....

especially super stars down south MGR,NTR,Raj kumar, Ranjikanth.this guys are ultimate demi gods down south.
first two NTR,MGR become Chief minister of their respective states,you can't say anything bad about this guys

thats funny coz neither Rajni nor MGR are tamil but have managed to be the face of tamils. Rajni is marathi, MGR was malayali. holy imported cows! :D

lol more then 20-30 percent of their population have telugu origin settled down during nizam period in most of the places like madurai,tanjore,trichy...
all it matters is they have to be hardcore tamil chauvinist like vaiko who supports LTTE openly btw this guy has a telugu origin,i won't even add chennai to the list
