SL is not better teamthan pakistan. They rely on one individual only to win them matches and once again he delivered. SL == one man team.

I disagree, I think SL are slightly better than Pakistan. The reason I'm saying this is that SL seems to be a bit more consistent than Pakistan. Currently, Pakistan too are overdependent on Inzamam and Yousuf to perform. Moreover, Pakistan's bowling is not much better than SL's minus Murali, but in Muralitharan SL has a bowler who counts for 3 world class bowlers.

As for batting, both teams are evenly matched, but I think the SL batsmen are a bit more consistent.

Sir, SL has only been consistent since England series. Otherwise they reached as low as 8th in one day rankings. Irrespective of current Pakistan bowling, our spearhead Shoaib, Asif, Kaneria, all have and are capable of winning matches on their own whereas Murali is the only SL one. Vaas has played a lot but rarely won a match for his team. I agree that Murali is exceptional though. Pakistan have rallied through Inzimam, Younis, Mohammad yousuf, Shoaib, Afridi etc in recent times whereas Sl victories will read Murali Murali Murali.. :hehe:

Great performance by Sri Lanka. Regardless of what people say about Murali's action, he will always be class act.

Comparing Sri Lanka with Pakistan, going by the England series and this match, it has to be said they are playing much better cricket than Pakistan. They showed great fight in the test series against England, and beating England 5-0 in their backyard is nothing to laugh at. They don't drop catches. That has to count for something. :D

By the way, Sri Lanka won the ODI's without Murali...........
