Told you guys it is not all about 300+ totals. You CAN defend low totals on indian pitches if you bowl with discipline and fire although 171 should have been easy
Even on the indian pitches expect scores to come down a bit during the KO stage. You won't see many 300+ totals. The reason why we are seeing such high scores right now is because it is still group stage. Batsmen can afford to bat in carefree manner because they know that 3 wins are enough to progress to the next round. The real contests will start from the KO stage. There will be more pressure on batters then and they w'd plan to mix caution with aggression. One slip up and you are out of the world cup

Brilliant performance by England. I dont think SA choked! It was not a good ODI wicket and SA bowled really well. But Broad and Anderson were magical. Give Anderson a hint of swing and everything he bowls is unplayable!
