How do you'll compare the singers from SRGMP and Indian Idol. I think Singers are better in SRGMP. How do you'll rate the judges?

Yeah and he did leave when Pratibha was eliminated. But they are headed straight for the recording studio, Pratibha got what she wanted, a break, her elimination didn't really matter in the end.

Indian Idol 4 is the worst in the series since Idol began. The standard of singing overall is very poor. I can think of previous Idol contestants who are who are better than half of the line up remaining g in this year's version. SRGMP is miles ahead of Indian idol.

Soumen has an advantage as he will get all the Male votes while Female votes would be divided. Also both Ya****a and Vaishali are from Maharashtra so Maharashtra votes would be split. Another disadvantage Vaishali has is that she is married with a kid.

Bengal has such a rich culture of Music with a harmonium or tanpura found in most houses so the bengali kids get a head start. Clearly that has helped Soumen. This shouldn't matter though, Vaishali has done well for the past 5 months with the audience knowing she is married with a kid whose husband some mysterious illness and her parents disowned her. Whether she has received emotional viotes since is open to debate.
No one was eliminated. So the finals would be between Vaishali, Soumen and Ya *a. Vaishali was the clear winner in the classical and ghazal round followed by Soumen . Ya*a sang the ghazal very nicely but was short in classical round.
What do you guys think about Himesh's comments regarding Vaishali??? I understand he is totally backing her up but i do find his talk annoying and irritating ... The fights he gets into with other Guru's .. they might be for TRP's or they might be real .. who knows .... but personally . i dont like that ... in Jan 10th episode himesh didn't even let vaishali speak :( ... So back to my question ... Do you think himesh sometimes causes more bad than good with his comments??

Basically voters are not going to vote for best singer. Finals are on Jan. 24. Yas hita was from Mumbai but was represented as Delhite as her parents are from Delhi.

In 2005 Debojit was trailing in preliminary voting, but he won. In 2007, Anik was trailing, but he won too. So a lot will change between now and the finals.
