thanks Nadia: i was simply asking a question too:) if it is islamic or not… my asking a question if it is islamic or not simply is in the same pursuit of knowledge that Islam has made incumbent upon everyone, males and females.
now as for your niyat, Wallah-o-alam, I never said anything about it… i was simply asking a question related to your query 
and the ayah you quoted does not say that religion are made by ALLAH (Astaghfirullah!) to know each other.. The context of the ayah simply refer to human beings as general and different tribes and nations within muslim ummah otherwise
