I like the idea of wearing non-traditional jhoomars but you have to make sure it suits your face (I think a round jhoomar might make a round face look even rounder)

i'd say the biggest thing is round jhoomars on round faces shouldn't be happening at all unless the bride wants to look like a laddoo. and as with any jhoomar, its all about proportion. if you have a small face and forehead, don't get a ginormous jhoomar or teeka. it will overwhelm your features, like in the pic posted above.
